Georges Briard (1917–2005) was an iconic American artist and designer best known for his mid–century barware designs. Born in Russia, Briard immigrated to the United States in 1933 and quickly established himself as a leader in the art and design world. His works, which were produced from the 1940s to 1980s, are highly sought after by collectors.
